In the depths of my mind, I feel so alone,
Though success surrounds me, I still yearn for home.
A mental partner, one to share my thoughts,
To speak of deep dreams and all the “what ifs’’ sought.
Someone to challenge my intellect and soul,
To ask the big questions and never grow old.
A woman who understands the ways of my mind,
Who can finish my sentences, so insightful and kind.
Together we’d laugh and we’d explore,
Every thought that had never been voiced before.
We’d argue and debate, but always with love,
And the journey we’d take, would be guided above.
I’d be her rock, her shelter, her friend,
Together we’d face all that life has to send.
With each passing day, our love would grow strong,
And with her by my side, I’d forever belong.
So, if you’re out there, my mental partner so true,
Know that my heart beats strong, just for you.
I wait with bated breath, for the day we’ll meet,
And together we’ll dance, our love ever so sweet.
